Sason İlçe merkezinde 10.000, dağ köyü ve mezralarında da 30.000 kişi yaşamaktadır. İlçemizde 10 bin öğrenci eğitim-öğretim görmektedir. </FONT></SPAN></FONT></FONT></P> <P class=EC_EC_MsoNormal style="TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman"><SPAN style="COLOR: #444444"> </SPAN><SPAN><FONT color=#000000> </FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: #444444"><SPAN> </SPAN>Bölgemizde fakirlik-cahillik maalesef çok fazladır. Bölgemizle bütün dünya yakından ilgilenmektedir. Boş olan yerleri birileri zararlı şeylerle doldurmuş ama bilinçli insanların desteğiyle bölgemizde de çok şey değişmeye başlamıştır. Türkiye'nin kalkınmasının ve huzurunun bu bölgelerin kazanılmasıyla mümkün olacağını düşünüyoruz.</SPAN><SPAN></SPAN></FONT></FONT></P> <P class=EC_EC_MsoNormal style="TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman"><SPAN><FONT color=#000000>Yıllardır ülkemizi zarara uğratan terör olaylarından dolayı ilçemiz de olumsuz yönde etkilenerek sosyal-ekonomik yönden oldukça geri kalmıştır.</FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: #444444"> Sason'un geçim kaynağı tütüncülüktür. Bu seneden sonra ekilen tütünleri devlet almayacağından tütün ekimi de bitmiştir. Sokaklarda büyüyen çocukların, kahvelerde çürüyen gençliğin ilçesi olmak istemiyoruz.
